As Holocaust Remembrance Day ends tonight, Israel will be launching a new ultra-sophisticated spy satellite aimed at Iran, a country that has threatened more than once to destroy the Jewish State.
The Eros B satellite, to be launched from Siberia, will be able to photograph objects on the ground as small as 70 centimeters (27.6 inches), according to an official in Israel’s defense ministry.
Such resolution would be sufficient to provide Israel with substantial information on Iran’s nuclear program and its long-rage missiles which can strike Israel, said the official, who was quoted by the Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
