Common Sense in Toronto

The survey was conducted for Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center over a four-week period beginning in late August. Avi Benlolo, the centre’s president and CEO, said the Jewish community should take heart at the findings, which suggest the harsh and aggressive message broadcast by Israel’s opponents is failing to gain traction. Despite the repeated labelling of Israel as an “apartheid state,” students at both campuses rejected a boycott of Israel by a nine-to-one margin, seeing it as a violation of the principle of the free exchange of ideas, he said.

Vorbildlich.
